Only 5 days left before an unprecedented legal battle for our planet’s future is about to take place.
On the 14. November, in Oslo with the whole World watching, one of the largest people-powered movements in modern history will assemble to fight climate change in a new and powerful way: by bringing it into the courtroom. Standing in the dock will be the Norwegian government, which recently sanctioned new areas for oil exploration in the Arctic. Unburnable will tell the story of this momentous legal challenge, and the global fight to protect our most fundamental human rights.

How do you beat a government in court? With November’s court date approaching fast, we meet the legal team behind this unprecedented case. From former Supreme Court attorneys to renowned international human rights lawyers, we hear how this unique case has brought together some of the best legal minds in both Norway and the world.

When the doors of the Oslo District Court closes on November 14th, a momentous legal battle will unfold on the floor of the courtroom. With the future of the Arctic and the planet’s climate at stake, we journey into the minds of the lawyers themselves and explore the key arguments on which this historic case will be won and lost.

04: The Path Less Traveled
