Hurricane Maria named the deadliest US natural disaster in over 100 years
2,995 Americans died in Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, with over 2,000 of those dying well after the storm due to neglect by the Trump administration.

Last year, Trump said Hurricane Maria wasn’t “a real catastrophe like Katrina” because hundreds of people didn’t die and graded himself a “10” out of 10 for his response.
